Genialer Hack… Bringt zwar nichts, aber trotzdem lustig!

The time has come to hack the fuck out of the only Pinball game that anyone who has ever owned a Windows computer has played.

Start a new game, then type “hidden test”. Nothing happened, right? Okay smart guy, go ahead and put your mouse over the Pinball window, click, and drag. Yeah, the ball is following the mouse, I know. Try pressing ‘R’. Yep, your rank just went up. Now press ‘H’. Uhuh, you just got to enter yourself on the high score list with 1,000,000,000 points.

Ziemlich cooles Ding der Sockso Music Server. Sockso ist frei erhältlich und unter open-source lizenziert. Es ist ein kleiner aber feiner Musikserver. Das Prinzip ist einfach. Man startet auf dem Server einfach das Jar, in Windows über die Bat-Datei unter Linux über das Shellskript, und schon läuft der Server! Eigenschaften:

• Keine Installation
• Support für MP3, OGG Vorbis und WMA
• Einfaches Webinterfaces für die Bedienung
• Online Flashplayer, Playlisten und Suchfunktion
• Die Angebotenen MP3s können direkt heruntergeladen werden
• Statistiken etc.

Beim stumblen bin ich auf Glossy gestossen. Ich finde die JavaScriptlibrary ist durchaus ein Blogeintrag wert! Glossy funktioniert im Grunde sehr einfach, man kann auf Bilder auf einer Webseite gewisse Effekte die durch Glossy gerendert werden anwenden. Als erster Schritt muss man das Glossy JavaScript auf die Seite hinzufügen durch:

Auf das Bild auf das man Effekte hinzufügen möchte fügt man einfach eine neue CSS-Klasse hinzu die mit dem Keyword “glossy” anfängt. Beispiel:

“Surface Computing Technology” soll das digitale Leben erleichtern

Was man bisher nur aus Science-Fiction-Filmen kennt, soll bald Wirklichkeit werden: Microsoft hat nach fünf Jahren geheimer Entwicklungsarbeit seine “Surface Computing Technology” erstmals vorgestellt. Dabei handelt es sich um einen großen Display-Tisch, auf dem der Nutzer zeichnen und Mediendateien bearbeiten kann. Außerdem nannte Microsoft erstmals Details zum Domino Tagging.

A mother passing by her daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then she saw an envelope propped up prominently on the center of the bed. It was addressed, “Mom.” With the worst premonition, she opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:

Dear Mom: It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new boyfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Dad and you. I’ve been finding real passion with Ahmed and he is so nice-even with all his piercings, tattoos, beard, and his motorcycle clothes. But it’s not only the passion Mom, I’m pregnant and Ahmed said that we will be very happy. He already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. He wants to have many more children with me and that’s now one of my dreams too. Ahmed taught me that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone and we’ll be growing it for us and trading it with his friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Ahmed can get better; he sure deserves it!! Don’t worry Mom, I’m 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your grand children.
